Fired CIA Agent Can Continue With Lawsuit
A fired CIA agent has been advised by the courts that he can continue with his lawsuit against the agency, in order to try and challenge why he was dismissed as an agent with the CIA. The man, known simply as Doe, believes he already knows the reason for his firing.According to the former agent he was asked to alter evidence by the Bush Administration. According to Doe the Bush Administration wanted to cite this intelligence to justify going to war with Iraq. The intelligence in question related to the weapons of mass destruction that it was claimed Iraq had.
According to the judge, the former CIA agent has every right to file his lawsuit and to claim that he was dismissed for what is alleged to be falsified information on his file.
The agent was actually fired from his work as a CIA agent in September 2004, and claims that prior to being fired he was at the center of two contrived investigations.
