Michael Jackson Being Sued For Taking Hospital Bed From Woman Who Was Dying
Michael Jackson has found himself at the center of yet another lawsuit, as the family of a woman that was dying in hospital are suing him for taking the woman’s bed at the hospital. According to reports the elderly patient was moved from her hospital bed in order to accommodate the controversial pop star, and the family are now planning to sue.The lawsuit against Jackson was filed on Thursday by the eight children of the elderly woman, Manuela Gomez. The lawsuit claims that the hospital staff were celebrity obsessed, and in order to accommodate Jackson moved their dying mother out of her hospital bed.
According to the lawsuit Jackson turned up at the hospital complaining of abdominal pains during the trials relating to the child molestation charges. Hospital staff then quickly moved Mrs. Gomez from the emergency room, and according to the lawsuit treated her like ‘cargo’.
After turning up at the Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria in February 2005, Jackson demanded two beds, which is when Gomez was quickly moved. She died later that same night. Both Jackson and hospital staff are being accused in the lawsuit of emotional distress, negligence, elder abuse, false imprisonment and conspiracy.
