Axl Rose Counter-Sues Ex Band Members
Guns ‘n’ Roses front man Axl Rose has filed a counter lawsuit in federal court after allegations made by former band member Sau Hudson, known as Slash. Lawsuits had previously been filed by former band members Slash and Duff (Michael McKagan) in both the Los Angeles Superior Court and federal court. The lawsuits made a number of allegations about Rose.Rose has now filed his lawsuit requesting that the federal courts confirm his ownership of his own works. The lawsuits filed by the ex band members claim, among other things, that Rose does not hold a copyright for the songs he co-authored with band mates. A number of other allegations have reportedly been made by the two former band members against Rose.
It has been claimed that Slash and Duff have continuously made derogatory and malicious comments about the Guns ‘n’ Roses front man, making comments to the media as well as filing lawsuits against the star.
Rose has so far avoided retaliating to the former band members through the media, and instead has chosen to prove his integrity through the official channel of a counter suit, which was filed on March 3rd. Rose believes that the courts will rule in his favor on all counts.
