Billy Joel Musical Sued By One Of Its Dancers
A dancer working on the Broadway Billy Joel musical, “Movin’ Out”, is suing the show for millions of dollars claiming sexual harassment and humiliation. Alice Alyse is suing for $100 million, and alleges that she was humiliated and harassed with regards to the size of her breasts by a member of the show’s crew.Alyse claims that the stage manager continually humiliated and intimidated her about her breast size when costumes had to be altered in order to accommodate her size.
Her breast size had increased to a D from a C after an accident, and she claims that the stage manager was the main harasser – Billy Joel was not named in the lawsuit.
Alyse stated: "It should not be acceptable for any employee at any job to be sexually harassed, discriminated against, humiliated, made to perform injured, be made an example of to scare others, threatened, treated differently or made to work in a hostile workplace environment."
