Finger Points At Wendy’s Accuser
A woman that tried to sue fast food chain Wendy’s after claiming that she found part of a finger in her bow of chili has been arrested at her Las Vegas home. The woman, Anna Ayala, has been making her claims since March, when she went to a Wendy’s in San Jose with her family to dine. It is there that she claims she found and bit into part of a finger in her bowl of food.However, upon extensive investigations and following a lead, police have confirmed that the finger belonged to a colleague of Alaya’s husband – he lost his finger in an accident at work last year. The woman firmly denies having put the finger in the bowl of food herself, and she had already dropped the claim for compensation that she had been seeking after police had searched her Las Vegas home.
Anna now faces charges of larceny, and if she is found guilty when the case goes to trial she could be looking at seven years in prison. It has also been revealed that this is not the first time the woman has tried to sue a company – in fact, she is known to have been involved in around ten lawsuits in the past, ranging from a sexual harassment lawsuit against her employer to a lawsuit against another food chain for food poisoning.
