This may not seem to be a lot, but when you are thinking in terms of plants and the area that it covers this can be a nightmare for any gardener. These molds are easily identified, however, which makes it somewhat easier to get rid of them as fast as possible. Their surface color is white and they have a woolly texture. Over time, the color of this mold begins to turn more grew as they age and spread.
Fusarium has been linked to human keratitis and corneal ulcers. This type of toxic mold has also been found to cause sinusitis. Fusarium was first found to be connected with some illnesses in farm animals, but over time there have been reports of it being present in humans as well. If not treated in farm animals these types of toxic mold can lead to serious neurological disorders and eventually the animals will either die or will need to be put down. Research has also shown that these types of molds enter the animals through their types of feed. There are certain levels of this fungus or mold that are consider safe but if they are present in excess levels than they could cause serious damage to the animals health.
